This property was originally a series of apartments and mews that were all patiently bought over a period of time so that they could be combined into a single house.
Following the successful application to obtain planning consent to provide a single house, a design and proposal was drawn to submit for a planning application that allowed for below ground development which included 2 basement levels of accommodation, swimming pool and gym facilities. In addition the planning application included a extension to the ground floor for a large kitchen and dining area.
This planning was successfully obtained and construction initiated. During the construction, another planning application was obtained for the development of the Mews with an additional basement as well.
The basis of this development was simply to take manageable steps to increase the value of the property incrementally to a point where it was maximized.
The property was then sold as a ‘shell and core’ development, at which time the new owners would further develop and create the fit out of this luxury home.
